Credzy
A credit-building app rebuilt from the research up: brand, design system, product design and motion.
Talking to real users, at volume
Credzy had something most product teams never get: a call centre with a direct line to thousands of customers. We used it. Surveys and interviews fed an affinity map, and the map produced four personas that set the roadmap: a traveler, a retired veteran, an RTO lead and a working dad.

A process that kept looping
Discovery, define, test, listen, then round again. Nothing shipped on a single pass, and every loop closed with users rather than with a sign-off.

Daily design work
Stand-ups were UX or UI work in progress: user flows, competitive analysis, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes wired together for testing.

A design system to build on
Once the research settled, I built the system that let the team move without re-deciding the basics. Components, colour, icons, type styles, grids and feature templates, all catalogued and documented for both feature sprints and the UI designers working in them.
- Light and dark component sets
- Buttons, inputs, toasts, cards, dialogs
- Documented for sprint hand-off

Brand from the ground up
Logo, iconography, illustration, colour, typography, motion and a style guide. A custom brand built alongside the product rather than bolted on after it.

Motion as part of the system
Rive and Lottie animations were designed as system components, not decoration. States, transitions and score changes that explain what just happened.
The finished product
Credit capacity, score tracking, identity protection and a coaching library, wrapped in a brand that stays cheerful about a subject most people dread.
