busybusy: time tracking built for the job site, not the office.
01

The problem was paper

Research put numbers on what crews already knew: 43% of the pain was paperwork overload and 44% was simply inefficient process. Not a feature gap, but a workflow that ran on printouts and memory.

02

Designing for the person signing the cheques

The buyer and the daily user are often the same exhausted person. Personas kept that specific: a 35-year-old construction business owner who’d rather be on site than chasing timecards.

“I hate doing payroll and tracking down timecards.”
03

Shipping on a sprint cadence

Design ran inside the same agile loop as engineering: project vision, release planning, then sprints of planning, implementation, review and retrospect, with daily scrums holding it together.

04

The app on the job site

Clock in, switch cost codes, track equipment and see where a crew is, designed for gloves, glare and one-handed use.

Built for the conditions it’s used in.
